I’m proud to be one of REACH’s Directors of Community Initiatives. My journey with REACH began over a decade ago as a volunteer, and I’ve had the privilege of working with passionate people across Edmonton who are committed to building community and making our city safer. Along the way, I’ve supported front-line professional development with content-expert partners, helped strengthen out-of-school programming for children and youth experiencing systemic barriers, and collaborated with partners and persons with lived experience to create safer pathways out of human trafficking.

 

The solutions aren’t always simple, but willingness to work collaboratively towards a safer city is and that keeps me inspired.
